Timeless Elegance: Jayde

Jayde has been my model before and when I decided what I wanted to do with my Timeless Elegance studio shoot I knew she would be perfect for it. 

She is also a photo major at AI but she is great in front of the camera too!

I wanted a vintage yet edgy look to my photographs. 

A couple of the photos I used my lensbaby. I loved the effect it made with studio shots. 

First studio session

I had my first studio portrait shoot today for portraiture. 

I went pretty smoothly and I was able to get some pretty good shots. 

I feel as though I need to work on posing, I never know how to have my models stand, what to do with their arms, etc. I have yet to show these to my instructor so we'll see how it all goes. 

Abbie was so much fun to work with! She is so energetic and comfortable in front of the camera!

2012// Portraits

I used to babysit Kaden when he was younger and every time I do his photos I can't believe how much he's grown!

I took photos of Georgia (My boyfriend's little sister) for her 16th birthday. She is such a natural beauty and so photogenic! 

My long time friend Forrest went on his mission and I was asked to take their last family photos before he left. 

 

 

Danie'l and Chad are always so much fun to work with and their little kiddo! 

I took Kerian & I's own photos. I did pretty okay with the tripod and self timer.

My cousin Kaylee and her boyfriend Josh and Stormy with her cute little family. 

My cousin got married!

 

At the end of the year I took my own family photos!
