Back from saving the world

The Turtle Rescue as you can tell was one of the best experiences.

The second to last night was insane. We found 8 nests...yes, EIGHT.

& can you believe that we did not find one turtle nesting?

It made me rather bummed and at the same time amazed of how sneaky the little buggers are.

Well, I guess they are not little, they are really rather large.

The last night I was able to have a little more time with the turtles...Angie and I took some pretty cute pictures with the little guys.

Throughout the whole week I did not see one turtle nesting.. even though I left at 2 a.m every morning.

This made us decide that the last night we would go out at midnight for my last night.

There was no point in sleeping until I got back at 3 a.m.

I grabbed myself some gas station latte and an amazing burrito from a street stand.

I was pumped to find myself a turtle nesting finally.

Want to know what we found?

One nest...No turtle.

Even though I was not able to see a turtle nesting the trip was amazing.

I learned so much.

& never knew how amazing sea turtles were.
