Help a family in need..Read a book!

LigaMAC is an organization here in San Jose Del Cabo who help families in crisis. MAC stands for Mexican, American, and Canadian and together they work mano con mano (hand in hand) to help these families in need. I am now volunteering with this organization to help these families.

They have a little used bookstore, with thousands of books, where all of the money goes to the families. It's been really great working in the store so far. It's the down season now so we are only open on Tuesdays and Saturdays form 9am-1pm. We have been organizing the books like crazy.

A few people every now and then will come in and buy a book. It's been really great interacting with all of the locals around here. What's really great is when someone comes in speaking Spanish, even though it's intimidating for me for knowing little Spanish at this time, it really helps me to expand my Spanish!
