I'm here!! AYE-AYE-AYE!
& let me tell you..it's been quite the day! I was so nervous that something would go wrong, I've flown before on my own..quite a bit...but never out of the country. So much to remember! I was surprised that everything went as smoothly as it did.
I got to my gate an hour and a half before my flight took off, so I sat and texted as much as I could..I had to get my texting fix in. No cell phone for me here!
I get on the plane and the ride was for four hours...not too bad
I arrive in Mexico and my Mom told me "Whatever you do..don't talk to the people that will ask you for a taxi, want to talk about time share, ect. Man oh Man was she right!! They don't call it "The shark tank" for no reason! These people were all over me "SENORITA! SENORITA! Do you need a taxi?! SENORITA!" It was insanity! Finally I was out of the automatic doors and there my parents were waiting for me. It's so nice to see them :]!
As we drive home they give me a detour and show me around a bit. I won't lie, at first it looked a bit sketchy, but when you get past all of it everything is so colorful and unique!
They took me to the beach for a bit before going to our casa, splashed around a bit, got sand all up my legs, and BeBe almost got washed away. (In case you didn't know BeBe [Mars] is my traveling monkey that I take everywhere.)
We get home and my parents surprise me with a huge shrimp cocktail! I'm so excited for all of the fresh fish and fruit here!
The place we are living is sooo nice and cute. It has all of the rustic wood decor with some color. Especially my room. :].
I most of my parent's friends, who are the neighbors, the neighbor dog (Molly), and the cutest kids ever!
All and all today has been quite the adventure so far!!
